The first impression when I saw a boxer dog is a dog that is not friendly, with a sturdy body, serious face, furrowed forehead and looks angry. He just looks at me without barking. And that makes me a little bit scary and unwilling to touch.

But after some time I interact with the boxer dog, I realized that this breed have a distinctive type of dog than the other breed. I can see it in his expressive face and the way he respond what I said. Boxer dog is really talented dog breed. This breed is very clever and strong. With the ingenuity that has, seem he could understand all sentences that I said.

Boxer dog may become good playmate for children. He enjoys and love by interact with children. His temperament and patience make the boxer dogs great around children.

The Boxer breed has proven its loyalty and a good companion to their owner. With the proper boxer dog training, he can be a guard dog, circus dogs, and police dog. Furthermore, can be seeing-eye dogs for blind people.

Boxer dog originated from German. It was from breeding of Bullenbeisser (now extinct) and Bulldogs brought in from England. The Boxer Dogs as we know it today is a bigger breed – a mixture of the German Boxer with a taller, more elegant English import. The era of this modern Boxer began in the 1880s and became really popular in the United States in the late 1930s-1940s.
